September 6th & 7th, 2011, Katherine- Low Level Big 4 Caravan Park

Tuesday morning saw us up, packed, and on the road early to Katherine. Mostly because we were anxious to get shopping but partly because as Di said; the Roadhouse reminded her of Wolf Creek.

We arrived at the Big 4 in Katherine by 10:30am and got setup. It is a very nice caravan park with lovely shaded sites and full, clean facilities. Once setup we headed off to Woolies to restock groceries and booze. I'm sure that Woolies Katherine set sales records yesterday based on our purchases. A couple of hours of shopping later we returned to the caravans for the truly difficult part of fitting everything in!

Today we are planning to do laundry, cleaning, and generally preparing for the next leg of our journey. Carol and Stephen are getting their fridge/freezer fixed. The temporary fix is still working but they can get a more permanent job done here. Next stop Timber Creek on the Victoria River.
