Sunday July 31st saw us make the very short journey North to Berry Springs. We returned to the Stuart Highway before travelling approximately 40km North. We then travelled 15km west on the Cox Peninsula Road to Berry Springs. The campsite had nice pull through sites and a large amenity block. We were also very close to a small lake. We set up camp before lunch and then travelled in to Coolalinga for groceries etc. We took a drive to the Berry Springs Nature Park upon our return. I didn't get any photos but it is a very nice springs. A number of different sections to explore and a very comfortable temperature. It was nice to cool down a bit as the weather is quite warm. Quite busy but there was still lots of room because of the different sections.
Monday morning saw Di, Carol, and Stephen explore the Territory Wildlife Park. Sandra, Terry, and I took the morning off and relaxed. The park was apparently very good so Sandra & I will come back to it from where we are staying in Darwin. It is only about 20 minutes from our campground there. We met the others at the Litchfield Pub for a lunch. The Pub is very nice with beautiful wood tables. Lunch was so-so and they screwed up Sandra's Gluten Free meal so not our favorite place. We relaxed for the afternoon as well. We are off tomorrow morning for Dundee Beach.
