Day 2, March 2nd, 2011

Had a relatively early start from Broke and stopped at Hunter River at Jerry's Plains for morning tea. Sandra's family used to camp their on vacations as children. From there we progressed to Merriwa where we had lunch at the park along the highway. Stopped at Dunedoo for afternoon tea and fuel up. Set up camp at Mendooran near river. Water in river but difficult to access because of weed growth. Terry and Beth set up yabbie traps and got a few. No luck with fishing.
Sandra has a story to share later re toilets.
Nice morning with Cockatoo's directly overhead. Pretty but noisy.
