Tuesday June 14th saw us return to Kimberleyland in Kununurra from our week on the Gibb River Road. We arrived around lunch time to recheck in. We collected our van from storage while the Ransleys collected theirs from the Fridge repair service.
We booked in for 3 nights and got setup on sites close to our location at the Park (but no Boab tree over us). The next 3 days were spent cleaning, restocking, and reconnecting with our friends and families. The weather has cooled off somewhat which is a relief.
The Ransleys fridge problem finally seems to be resolved with it working perfectly on gas now! Hooray!
We celebrated Stephen's 56th birthday on the Thursday night with a baked dinner and a few cold ones.
We have really enjoyed Kununurra again and would gladly return. Ideally we would like to see it at the end of the wet to get a different perspective on many of the landmarks we have already enjoyed. We had hoped we would see it this time but alas the Wet Season was a disappointment and low water levels are the norm for the area. We would highly recommend the Kimberleyland Tourist Park as well. Great views along the water and good customer service throughout both our stays and storage.
