December 13th, 2011-January 4th, 2012- Home in New South Wales

We enjoyed a lovely quiet Christmas in Maitland with Stephanie and Tim. Justine was sadly missed as she spent Christmas in Canada with my Sister's family and my Mom. She was pretty homesick on Christmas day in Australia but had a nice time in Canada on their Christmas day. We took a photo with a cut out Justine for our Christmas memories.

Sandra and I did lots of work in the garden which was quite healthy with all the rain they have had in NSW. The weeds unfortunately responded as well as our plants and flowers.

Other highlights for me was a visit in to Viatek to enjoy a Friday lunch with the Admin girls. Quite a few of the guys joined us as well for a lunch at Sticky Rice. Good to see everyone and catch up on what was happening in Newcastle. Sandra and I also caught up with Tom and Leah Dora for a nice Thai lunch in Eleebana.

Sandra's sister Colleen and Ernie, and son Thomas joined us on Boxing day. Sandra's sister Sharon and daughter Abbey joined us as well for Boxing day lunch. Stephanie and Tim were back and forth between his family and ours over the holidays.

We headed off to Nowra on December 30th for Sandra's family Christmas at her sister, Maureen's. Another good turnout and a great time with lots of laughter, food, and drink enjoyed by all.

Stephanie and Tim dropped us off at the Sydney airport on December 4th for our flight back to Perth. Carol and Stephen picked us up at the airport and we enjoyed a lovely late dinner with them and Karen and David. The next morning saw us up and on our way back to Geraldton to pick up our caravan finally.
